J is for Jessica

“Hi, I’m Eva.” I stuck out my hand to the girl sitting next to meet at the table.

“I’m Jess. Nice to meet you.” She nervously tucked her hair behind her ear, just one of the many nervous tics being expressed in the room.

This was the start of a wonderful friendship, my dear readers. As I sit here in my dorm room, the wonderful notes of Jessica’s piano float through the walls. I am reminded everyday how wonderful a person she is. Treasure your friends, they are truly one of the best gifts that you have ever been granted.

Here’s to you, Jess!

  1. I had a friend named Jessica when I was a teen, I did not cherish her as much as I should. She was a great friend and a great reading buddy!
