S is for Summertime
For you listening pleasure:
Now, while you listen to that, I’ll tell you why I’m so excited for this summer… I’ll be spending six weeks of my life in a different country learning a new language. I’m super psyched about this (in case you couldn’t tell).
I love learning new languages. Last summer it was Spanish, this summer it’s Chinese… Hopefully I’ll add Arabic and Italian at some point in the future… I made a list the other day of the languages I know and want to learn… To say the least, I’ll be busy for the next few years…
Do any of you have exciting plans for the summer? In addition to learning Chinese, I’ll be finishing, editing and trying to publish RotP (Intro can be found here: Introduction to the Rise of the Phoenix) and any advice is appreciated. Drop me a line!
Eva
PS… I believe this means that I’m all caught up!

No summer travel plans this year. Between house reno, braces, and college tuition the well has run dry. I guess that means lots of trips to the beach this year. That’s free.
You’ve got quite the adventure ahead of you. Enjoy it.

I took 4years of French and still suck at it
:0) Have fun! I love summer too…mine shall be going crazy when my kids are enjoying summer break :0)
Good luck with that! It’s been 14 years of french for me and I still don’t know the language…
I am strongly considering Rosetta Stone :0)
I really like Rosetta! I use it to maintain my spanish…
So it does really work, I’m thinking I’ll be getting myself the french version real soon :0)
Yeah… It’s great (but also ridiculously expensive). That being said, you can have up to five users on one disc, so see if you can find a friend to split the cost with.
will have to do that, thanks! or should I say Merci! :0)
